Thomas Thurston

Thomas Thurston is the Director of Education and Public Outreach at the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition. Before that he served as the Project Director of the New Deal Network, an educational website developed by the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute. He currently hosts the GLC’s “Slavery and Its Legacies” podcast and leads professional development workshops for teachers in Connecticut, the United States, and internationally.
