Discovering Amistad Recognizes Those Who Made Port Visits Possible in . . .

 

NORWICH

Don Wallace, Dockmaster at the Marina at American Wharf, is presented with a plaque by Rich Wall, DA’s Port Logistics Project Manager – in appreciation for Don’s help in making The Amistad’s visit to Norwich such a resounding success.

Greg Zabel, Mystic Seaport Dockmaster, was recently presented with this plaque to thank him for accommodating The Amistad on his wharf during the many months when the ship is in Mystic.


NEW LONDON

Barbara Neff, Dockmaster for the City of New London, was recently honored by Discovering Amistad for her extraordinary efforts to bring The Amistad to New London this past summer as Part of the Voyage for Freedom.
